Really Bad Industry Awareness Marketing Ideas

After the disastrous discovery on Wednesday I have realized there seems to be a problem coming up with good ideas for industry awareness campaigns that will bring in talent and promte the use of print among the youth.

To help with this effort, I have developed a list of some really bad ideas that we should probably stay away from.

  • Develop a Nintendo Wii game that simulates running a printing press.

  • Frank Romano offers to write a book with any kid interested in a printing industry career.

  • Develop a Nintendo Wii game that simulates reading a book.

  • A comic book in which new media causes an world-wide pandemic that annihilates all living creators.

  • A bad cartoon about a fictitious League of Printing Awesomeness that goes around saving the world from evil doers.

  • How-to guides on homemade tattoos, forging documents, and other mischievous deeds.

  • A video called Am I Normal?, that lets kids know that its OK to still like print.

  • Glossy pictures of women gummy bears cars bunnies.

  • Unleash revolutionary paradigms that synergize visualized communication through dynamic convergence initiatives.

Any other ideas?
