Where is PrintWiki?
Earlier today and to some degree right now, PrintWiki (and Printmode, and labsgraphica) have disappeared from the web.
The DNS provider for PrintWiki and my sites has been under a Distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDOS) since late afternoon.
DDOS attacks suck in general, but making this more upsetting is that any potential new community members coming from the PrintPlant Notes sent out earlier today have not be able to access the wiki.
Once Michael and I realized our primary DNS had gone down, we added an alternative DNS network to our domain whois record. We are also investigating the implementation of a new DNS strategy that will include more redundancy (More DNS servers).
Update 12.02.2006: The DDOS on EveryDNS.net has been mitigated and all sites hosted on the GITServices network are once again reachable.
