Print Council at Graph Expo

The Print Council will be holding a press conference on the Saturday before GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO kicks offs: print-council-logo.png

The Print Council will unveil their new marketing tools to sell the benefits of print to corporations. They will also give an update on new members, new initiatives, and general plans going forward.

rit-pic-logo.png The Print Council tapped the Printing Industry Center at RIT to provide the research support behind the marketing toolkit being launched at Graph Expo (I worked for Pat Sorce, co-director of the Printing Industry Center this summer gathering and synthesizing industry and academic research from the business and advertising world for the toolkit.).

The The Print Council has taken some flak from industry pundits for not doing enough to advocate the use of print communication. While some of the criticism of the council might be deserving; Ben Cooper has take over as Executive Director and is making headway in turning the council into a strong advocacy group that will provide marketers relevant information on the effectiveness of print communication.

The event at Graph Expo will give you a chance to get an update on what the council has been doing and what their plans are going forward.
