Version 4 of the PDF/X Application Notes is now available from the NPES Standards Workroom.
The Application Notes provide a good overview of the current PDF/X conformance levels as specified in ISO 15930 parts 1 - 6

If you're unfamiliar with news feeds, take some time to familiarize with the format. News feeds provide a fast and convenient way to read content published on the web. You will need to have newsreader application (aka aggregators) to subscribe to feeds. If don't have one yet, I recommend Ranchero Software's NetNewsWire (Mac) or Nick Bradbury's FeedDemon (Windows) or Google Reader (Web-based).
