Agfa-Gevaert has decided to split the group in three independent businesses: Graphics, HealthCare and Materials.
Ghent PDF Workgroup Releases Ad Ticket
The Ghent PDF Workgroup has released an Ad Ticket that allows for the inclusion of advertisement metadata into a PDF file. The Ad Ticket which is based on Adobe's Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) was the result of collaboration between the GWG Job Ticket subcommittee and the AdsML initiative and its Ad Ticket sub-group.
Color Proofing RoundUP
IPA – The Association of Graphic Solutions Providers, held its annual Color Proofing RoundUP June 6-8 in Chicago.
The RoundUP included more than 30 proofing solutions ranging from inkjet, virtual (AKA soft) and traditional proofing systems.
