GRACoL teams with ISO TC130
The GRACoL Committee teams up with ISO TC130 to create a unified international characterization data set for commercial offset printing:
The International Digital Enterprise Alliance (IDEAlliance) today announced that as a result of the recent ISO (International Standards Organization) TC130 (Technical Committee 130) Working Group 3 meeting in San Diego, CA, the GRACoL Committee will work in a cooperative effort with other members of the ISO TC130 community to propose a unified international characterization data set for commercial offset printing.
I had heard about this cooperative effort from Elie Khoury when he visited RIT at the beginning of May. It will be interesting to watch what comes out of this now that the international community is really watching what the GRACoL Committee is doing with there GRACoL 7 specification and the G7 process.
