Lightning Source Adds Color
Web-to-print pioneer Lightning Source Inc. is adding full-color book capabilities to their service offerings. The full-color capabilities will be available in August.
Lightning Source hosted Frank Cost and I for a visit earlier this spring and I was amazed by their automated print production facility. The print production system they have engineered and the system integration they have with Ingram Books and Amazon.com is the best case I have seen in printing as manufacturing process.
