WhatTheyThink RSS Feed Hack
WhatTheyThink, the printing news and commentary site that provides Competitive Intelligence for Printing Executives lacks an official RSS Feed.
This requires me to break away from my normal process of reading web site updates via my RSS newsreader which is very fast and efficient, and visit their site via my browser which is very slow and so Web 1.0.
Thanks to the FeedYes site, I have created an RSS feed of WhatTheyThink's Today's News page.
Update 8-28-2006: WhatTheyThink.com now offers official RSS feeds. More info at http://members.whattheythink.com/rss.cfm
You can subscribe to the feed here: http://www.feedyes.com/feed.php?f=HDyIX0Ksvr9JFmbj
Update:
Here's a feed that tracks their most current Premium Content: http://www.feedyes.com/feed.php?f=cLkV9E16GXb0T0S7
Remember, this is a hack and is not guaranteed to work.
For the other 4%
If you are not among the 4% that have adopted RSS for reading regularly updated content on the internet, here are some resources to get you started.
From Printmode Feeds page:
If you're unfamiliar with news feeds, take some time to familiarize with the format. News feeds provide a fast and convenient way to read content published on the web. You will need to have newsreader application (aka aggregators) to subscribe to feeds. If don't have one yet, I recommend Ranchero Software's NetNewsWire (Mac), Nick Bradbury's FeedDemon (Windows) or Bloglines (Web-based).
