Notes:
In the early 80's there were no graphic arts specific standards. Any standards used were borrowed from other industries. Eg. Photography (ISO TC 42).
Data exchange, process control, and color management standards have traditionally developed by independently by different indusrty groups and standard organizations.
These standards and specifications are heavily dependent on each other.
Most of the presentation went over the 20 year history of graphic arts standards.
