Color.dots
Last Fall in the Color Reproduction course I took at RIT, we had to analyze the image structure of various image reproduction methods for an assignment.
Having access to a photomicrograph, I took some detailed photos and created Color.dots.
Color.dots is short survey of dot structures for various reproduction methods and imaging systems. Included in the survey are dots from:
- Flexography
- Offset Litho
- Including AM and FM Screening
- Gravure
- and Digital
- Including the:
- Cannon CLC 5000
- HP Indigo 3000
- Xerox DocuColor 6060
- Xeikon 50D
- Xerox DocuColor 12
- Xerox iGen3
- Kodak NexPress 2100
Not wanting my effort to go to waste, I just uploaded Color.dots to Lulu where you can download a PDF for free or order a printed copy at cost.
